How do I get to Bodrum?
The closest airport to the resort is Bodrum-Milas International
Airport. Flights are operated from Dublin via Istanbul by Turkish
Airlines. Various travel companies including Thomas Cook operate
regular charter flights to Bodrum from many UK airports. Charter
flights are currently available from Belfast International
Airport. EasyJet has applied for permission to fly to Bodrum in the
near future. There are also many other companies flying to Bodrum from
throughout Europe.
Is it safe? Is is clean?
Turkey is a very safe country. There is virtually no crime. For example
there have been no break-ins or thefts on the Flamingo Golf Resort
site. If any equivalent site was near any Irish or UK city continuous
24hr security would be required.

Do I need to speak Turkish?
The majority of Turkish people including shopkeepers and restaurant
staff all speak very good English. There is no problem conducting any
business in English. As Bodrum is popular with international visitors
all the local people are happy to converse in English.

Development of Flamingo Golf Resort
When will Flamingo Golf Resort be complete?
The Flamingo Golf Resort is scheduled for completion in late 2009.
How big is the resort?
The resort comprises a mixture of 1400 villas and apartments. Along
with the recreational, commercial facilities and 24hour security the
resort will be similar to a small village.
Do I have my own swimming pool?
Depending on the type of property you choose, you will have access to a
communal pool, a shared pool or your own private pool. All villas have
their own private pools while apartment owners can choose between a
pool shared with one other apartment or access to any of the communal
pools.
Are the properties provided with furniture and fittings?
All properties in Flamingo Golf Resort are completed with fitted units
i.e. the kitchen comes with work tops and sink fitted etc. The
bathroom for example comes with all units including toilet and shower
etc fitted. The properties are not furnished. A property management
company has recently been appointed to provide furniture options so
customers can use one point of contact to have their property
completely furnished and ready to move into.
Can I have air-conditioning installed in my investment
property?
Yes. Investors may opt to have air-conditioning installed during the
building of their property. Details of pricing are available on request.
